Toy God
My work seeks to explore nostalgic and imaginative scenes where my concepts are inspired by the fantasy worlds of my youth and the desire to blend fantasy with everyday life. My aim is that we all might find a comforting escape by immersing ourselves in worlds of our own creation.
This body of work is a collection that serves as both a homage and a gentle reminder to nurture your inner child and embrace the healing power of reminiscence. Each piece is a love letter to the whimsy of youth, a testament to the enduring power of our cherished memories. The use of the most iconic symbol of childhood comfort, the beloved stuffed toy, acts as a conduit for introspection and transformation. Here, beloved childhood toys are not merely artefacts of memory but elevated to the status of divine beings or guardians of our innermost dreams.
