Remote Control
Since the pandemic, remote working has surged in Ireland. But far from simply being a change in location, remote and hybrid work represents a fundamental shift in how employees advance their careers, build networks, and even socialise.
Recognising these profound changes, 'Remote Control' is designed to help Irish remote workers successfully move their careers forward by connecting them with remote leaders in their industries from whom they can learn successful remote-career-building skills. Additionally, the program connects them with remote peers in their communities, enabling them to support each other, learn together, and socialise.
Remote Control is currently live and is being run in conjunction with the community-based remote working organisation 'Grow Remote'. Currently, it is supporting over 80 remote workers and job seekers to advance their remote-working skills, plan their next remote-first career move, and build their networks.
