Dysphorum
A focused coalescence of image and feeling, a place to slow down amongst quickness. Thought weaves through the visual, to create a happening that is a window which allows you in and out freely.
Dysphorum orbits personal queer experience that is re-presented in its truth through blends of colour/shape that sit between landscape and self-portraiture. The writing engagements then fight with and marry to the imagery, opening portals of beauty in the aporic existence of struggle and complex blends of the whole. The longing for sublimity becomes a delicate comfort.
You’ll find no thing just everything, every s i n g l e time. There’s a flood of truth, a revelation that supersedes anything before. Cleansed with all the world’s dirt; fought through like hugs, blankets, warmth.
Out of grasp, it is that very nature that makes it. There’s no need – want less – suffer none – bountiful.
