Working Eight to Five at Eighty-five
Documentation through film is crucial to allow for the understanding of the future. Looking at the life of a grandmother who still runs a business at 85, this work documents the strength of a generation that is already being forgotten.
Organic cycles are recurrent in both medium and subject throughout all my work. This allows for a closer connection between the viewer and the piece. The present world is segregated from human interaction because of technology. This documentary shows the loss of human contact through the generations of modern society.
