The Dog In Me
The diversity of human experience spans a range that is beautifully unquantifiable, but the way we operate is often tailored to a select group.
Navigating the world while neurodivergent, means constant internal adjustment and micromanagement of the self to fit an intensely tight regime. In regards to autonomy, self-expression, and discrimination, the treatment of the neurodiverse is severely lacking in both understanding and dignity.
‘The Dog In Me’ explores neurodiversity through a voice of personal reflection, dissecting the intersections of disability and identity to highlight the challenges facing ADHD and autistic populations and to carve out an opportunity for conversation.
