Untitled (suspended stones #1) & Monotheism
For this year's NCAD Works 2024, I have chosen to produce two sculptural works: a suspended stone circle installation in NCAD's Granary Building Atrium and a living grass arch sculpture situated in the Media Studios. Adopting a minimalist approach, my works are grounded in a core belief: ancestral intuition and learning-through-making can serve as a powerful antidote to the technological excess and inertia prevalent in today's capitalist society. By producing work through creative strategies that are in synergy with natural systems and new ecological attitudes, my work aims to offer an alternative to the stagnation of our times.
