Womanhood
Identity and the transcendence of life are the core themes that drive my artistic expression. The question of identity and the human experience draws from my own experience of living with undiagnosed ADHD.
For most of my life, I learnt to mask my behaviour as a result of being neurodivergent. Consequently, a lifetime of observing how others behave gave me a fascination with identity and the human experience.
Now, I embrace the power of emotion and identity, using it to fuel my artwork and to tell my story and the stories of others.
Inspired by the likes of Munch and Rothko, my work strives to tap into our profound inner emotions. Through the use of colour, tone, and composition, I aim to forge a connection with my audience, inviting them to interpret the artwork through their own unique perspective.
