Meditation Through Motion
My work is deeply rooted in nature, with mindfulness at its core. I am fascinated by spontaneous expression, patterns of repetition, and experimentation. In my art, I play with patterns and scale to reflect their diversity in the natural world. My approach is multifaceted, employing techniques such as digital painting, ink drawing, screen printing, drypoint, and etching. I create images using traditional printmaking processes, often incorporating digital elements. To highlight humanity's artificial impact on nature, I add neon pink hand-drawn lines.
The creative ambition of this work is to encourage viewers to slow down and foster a love for nature and its therapeutic qualities. Poetry is integral to my process; my verses inspire visual pieces and offer me the same solace as nature itself.
Art is a timeless craft with many intricacies and patterns. Nature weaves into the tapestry of life, leaving beholders smitten and soothed. Tendrils tending to souls.
